Marcos Evangelista 7-String Guitar, 2015 (nylon strings) SOLD

Marcos Evangelista de Freitas is based in Aparecida de Goiânia, in the state of Goiás. In 2010 he took 1st place in the "III Concurso Nacional de Luteria Enzo Bertelli", a prestigious juried competition among luthiers. This guitar dates from 5 years after that competition.  Based purely on its quality, this instrument should be considerably more expensive than we are offering it here.  It suffered some damage in transport to the US, however, and the price takes that into consideration. (See the photos and our description of "condition" at the bottom of the list below.) That mishap offers you a great value on an excellent instrument: easy to play, quick response, plenty of volume and rich tone.

Condition: Generally very good. There are two small, dings in the top which should be visible in the photos here. The instrument was damaged in transport: apparently it was dropped with some force on its tail-end, which caused a crack in the side several inches to the right of where the endpin would be, and two cracks in the top in that same area.  We have taken care to include those areas in the photos you see here. The damage has been expertly repaired by Adam Bahrami and, as you can see (or not see), the cracks are scarcely visible without careful examination.
