Manoel Andrade 5-string Cavaquinho ~2008 (SOLD)
Manoel Andrade 5-string Cavaquinho ~2008 (SOLD)
The late Manoel Andrade is one of our favorite luthiers, so we've seen a bunch of his cavaquinhos. But none of us had ever seen an Andrade 5-string before this one came along. If you've been considering a 5-string cavaquinho -- very useful for soloing -- consider this one. It's in great shape, it's a terrific instrument, and it may be the last one we ever see. Manoel did not date his instruments, but based on what we know of its history we place it around 2008.
