This is the first of two guitars we've purchased that were made by Sao Paulo-based Jefferson Barros -- one with nylon strings and one with steel. (There are various luthiers with the last name Barros. It helps to know their location and first name as well.) This one has a number of features that set it apart: it is slimmer than most, and has back and sides of Imbuia, a soundport, an elevated fingerboard and a truss rod.
