Pedro Santos is a contemporary Brazilian luthier based in Bahia, probably best known as a for his bandolins, especially those of the 10-string variety. Artists who regularly play Pedro Santos bandolins include Hamilton de Holanda, Ronaldo do Bandolim, Reco do Bandolim,  Armandinho, Jorge Cardoso, Dudu Maia and Ian Coury. The waiting list for his instruments can, and does, stretch into the years. Here's a maple-bodied cavaquinho of his, only the second we've obtained over the years.
