A vintage João Batista "Serie Especial" in excellent condition, this one with a bearclaw sitka spruce top and a pick-up already installed. Now back home in João Pessoa, JB made his name -- among the most widely recognized in all of Brazil -- making guitars, cavaquinhos and bandolins for sambistas and chorôes in São Paulo in the 90´s and early 2000's. We always have our eyes out for well-cared-for instruments of his from that era . Here's one!
