c2-homero-nardi-modelo-chorao
(C2) Homero Nardi, Modelo Chorão

Homero Nardi is one of Brazil's most respected luthiers. No less than Agnaldo Luz studied lutherie with him, and Gian Correa played nothing but Nardi´s 7 cordas de aço for many years. Homero Nardi´s instruments are increasingly hard to come by and this one is a relatively recent build, though the year is not specified on the label. Those who prefer a slightly wider fingerboard will appreciate the 33mm nut on this build, and the radiused fingerboard is both rare and welcome to most players. The cavaco has a bright, clear voice, ready to sing through the mix at your next roda.

Top: European Spruce
Back & sides: Brazilian Rosewood
Neck: Cedro Rosa (Cedar)
Fingerboard: Ebony
Nut: Bone with zero fret
Saddle: Bone
Scale length: 340mm
Nut width: 33mm
Body depth: 87mm
Widest body width: 224mm
Finish: PU
Tuners: Import
Pickup: yes
Case: Contemporanea gig bag
Strings: Dinâmico São Paulo cavaco
Condition: Excellent, rustic construction
Notes: radiused fingerboard
